QLD Bluecard
In order to complete paid work with Code Camp, you will need a Paid (Employee) Bluecard (QLD Working with Children Check) in order to legally work in this capacity. If you have a Volunteer category check, you will need to transfer your check to the Employee category. If you already have a Blue Card (or Blue Card Exemption/QCT reg), please upload a picture to your staff profile along with the number and expiry date, and let us know via email. Otherwise, both a first time application and a Transfer must be initiated online, following these steps:
Follow the link below to begin your application as soon as possible. Remember to apply for the Paid category.
If you have a volunteer category card, you will need transfer to the Paid type. Please follow the link below to do this as soon as possible.
Once you have applied/transferred, please upload the proof of application to your staff profile (until the new check comes through) and let us know via staff@codecamp.com.au
If you are a teacher (and are registered with the QCT) and you haven't applied for the Blue Card Exemption, please do so by following this link: https://www.qld.gov.au/law/laws-regulated-industries-and-accountability/queensland-laws-and-regulations/regulated-industries-and-licensing/blue-card/applications/apply
Once you have your exemption number, please provide that on the portal and let us know!
