VIC WWCC

In order to complete paid work with Code Camp, you will need a Paid (Employee) Working With Children Check in order to legally work in this capacity.  If you have a Volunteer category check, you will need to transfer your check to the Employee category. Both a first time application and a Transfer must be initiated online, following these steps:

1. Click here to Start a New WWC Application OR Click here to start a Volunteer to Employee Transfer and complete the online forms.

2. Visit a participating Post Office with the attached QR code (printed or on your smartphone) and the required proof of identity documents. You will have your photo taken and pay the fee for an employee check to finalise your application

3. Upload a picture of your receipt from the post office to the VIC WWCC section of your staff profile.

4. You will receive an email with an application number after submitting at the post office. Be sure to update your staff profile with your application number, and let us know via email once done, so we can verify your check.

If you already have an Employee WWC card (or Victorian Institute of Teachers card), please take a picture and upload it to your staff profile, along with entering the number and expiry date.
