How does the Loyalty Program work?

Our staff loyalty program is to help us give something back to our amazing, loyal staff. Those who show up to every camp they're assigned to and do a great job! At Code Camp we recognise and value our staff (and their loyalty to us) and want to reward it.

We are so thankful to have so many staff who go above and beyond, which is why we have allocated a budget that allows us to give small bonuses in the form of (but not limited to) gift vouchers, to those staff who continually do a great job.

The criteria we look for in our great staff members can be found below.

Loyalty criteria:

  • Entering availability 

Entering availability ahead of the season and selecting relevant dates and locations that we can assign you to

  • Working every day of your assigned camp 

This means being ready to go each day, and not dropping out of an assigned day.

  • Punctuality at each day of camp

Arriving promptly at 7:30am/8am (day dependent) each day of camp and staying until 4pm without fail.

  • Working multiple camps

If you are able to work and do therefore accept multiple camps in one season. 

  • Overall energy both in the classroom, at break times and at drop off/pick up 

Being the bubbly, energetic and smiley person that we recruited! Keeping this consistent throughout the day - at drop off/pick up with parents around, in the classroom and during break times.

  • Feedback from your Camp Manager(s) / other staff members

Great feedback that assures us that you’re giving it maximum effort each camp.

  • Communication on Slack 

Are you acknowledging messages addressed to you? Do you message if you need help? Are you able to communicate with your peers/us at HQ suitably?

  • Ability to cover any dropouts (if you sign up to be on last minute call)

If you have signed up to be on “last minute call”, you are helping us by stepping in for any dropout positions that you’ve said you’re free for.

  • Willingness to be flexible in your role 

Sometimes things happen and you might need to help out in a different class on one day and/or step into a different role. Your willingness to be flexible is greatly appreciated and can help us out in more ways than one, so is a bit part of the loyalty criteria.

  • Organising and keeping classrooms and stock as found on day 1

Showing your loyalty to us by helping to sort and tidy the classrooms as you found them on the first day, as well as ensuring that all stock that gets returned to HQ storage as it was found on the first day - neatly and organised.

* Note that rewards will not be issued until the end of a season. Rewards are given entirely at the discretion of Code Camp HQ staff.
